<h1>Moxxy</h1>
|
||
<p>Moxxy is a modern open source XMPP client for Android.<br>
|
||
In October 2023, I wrote a <a target="_blank" href="https://mastodon.online/@ailyaut/111172106792795090">post</a> on Mastodon to present <a target="_blank" href="https://1999.robotfumeur.fr">1999</a>, an XMPP client project with similar goals, aiming to be easy to use and available on all major platforms.<br>
|
||
Against my expectations, the post met with great success, and developers asked me to join their XMPP client project to help on the UI side. Among them was the developer of Moxxy.<br>
|
||
I have been contributing to the project in my spare time ever since.
|
||

|
||
<p>This website was actually created to share my progress on the Moxxy interface, both to encourage me to work on it regularly and to get feedback from the community.</p>
|

Let's start with a little announcement: from now on, I'll be publishing my .penpot file in the moxxy/design repository on Codeberg on a monthly basis, so that everyone can tinker with the interface to their heart's content! I should have done it from the start, but better late than never!
